A simple visual language
Behind the design of this design system was a desire to reduce any visual noise that might create unwanted cognitive loads in users. each component was designed to be reusable throughout the company's family of digital products.
Into the details
Working on this project made me responsible for properly maintaining the design system in terms of consistency regardless of the digital product taken in question. Behind each component is a great deal of documentation work.
Documentation is the key
Each design-token, as well as all components based on the Atomic design process, are all documented and part of a variable library within the Figma ecosystem.
The variable library is based on a semantic structure that is easy to apply to the entire design system.
